When asked about her experience at attending this year's event, Deanna remarked, ‘Energising!’ and went on to say, ‘While there's always a lot of business conducted at AIME plus trends to learn, my biggest takeaway was the reconnections with colleagues, friends, and clients from across the Asia Pacific. It's these meaningful interactions that truly make events and business events like AIME special.’
Calling for contributions | As we continue to see associations managing (or resisting) change in revenue growth and diversification, we are also seeing associations keen to share their success and learn from others.
We are thrilled with the response to our call for case study contributions for our next white paper. Topics will include Organisation versus Individual membership Growth from European Society of Association Executives ESAE and Online Education Growth with Australian Gift & Homewares Association AGHA.
If you would like to contribute to our 2025 white paper, please reach out to Deanna.

Celebrating Career Milestones! | | Mayvin Global is on the move
A big congratulations to both Sally Cominos Dakin and Dona Fazah. Sally celebrates 6 years with Mayvin Global this year and 21 years working with CEO and Founder Deanna Varga across her various professional roles within the Tourism and Business Events sectors. We also (sadly) farewell Dona as she embarks on a career change and takes up a position with the not for profit - The Busy Group. For the past three years, Dona has worked in the background providing administration and research for many Mayvin Global projects, including Darwin City Retail Association, Property Council Australia and Dubbo Regional Council. | | Mayvin Global recognised the opportunity to support the Northern Territory’s business events and tourism sectors with an office established in the NT in 2020. This year marks five years in the NT and we are on the move - to new premises, that is!
Mayvin Global is now located at the Darwin Innovation Hub in Smith Street. A big thanks to Britta, Mariana and all the Agentur team who have previously let us call Agentur home.
